You may have been told many great ideas for a first date from your friends, but do you know that women love surprises? Why not spice up your first date in an mysterious and unusual way? Something that is fun for both of you will be remembered for a long time to come. This first date idea is unique and should be tried out if you know the person at least a little and believe she will appreciate the adventure. Make sure she doesn't get confused about what you're doing or land up in any kind of trouble.

This first date idea is a sort-of scavenger hunt, before or during the date. The ultimate destination for your date could be any place both of you are interested in, but the way you get there could be different.

Just about everyone has a mobile phone these days and it can be used for text messaging your date during the hunt. Set up a meeting place for your date, but just before the set time, message her to meet at a slightly different location. At that location, say a bookstore, message her to collect a certain book from the counter, you should have already paid for it. It could be a book of common interest or one of particular interest to her if you know that. Arrange to hide an envelope in that book that contains information regarding the next clue.

The next clue could be that she will find you at the place written on the envelope, or you may want to further extend the hunt by setting her off to solve another clue. Like maybe you say she will find you in a place where the best coffee is served, or where she can see her favorite actor on-screen. She will get the clue and meet you at the popular coffee shop or the movie theatre, find you waiting there.

This first date idea is just an example. You should create some variation and apply your own creativity. The more you know about her interests before planning this date will help you select unique clues that will create a little mystery and adventure. Something a little offbeat is always good. This will help you generate her interest in you, and make the date memorable.

Above all, you want your date to feel special and that you have really made efforts to plan an imaginative date that will be memorable for both of you.
